This role is aimed at ensuring Globe Mitre 10 Broken Hill customers and trades people have a great shopping experience.  We require people with a passion for retail with great customer services skills, exceptional personal presentation and the flexibility to do weekend work.  You will be required to work quickly, efficiently and with a professional attitude in a very busy environment. Some of your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform deliveries to customers after successfully and accurately checking the product, delivery and fee details.
  • Answer any queries relating to products, source and place orders for customers and follow through to payment and customer pickup or delivery.
  • Clean and keep tidy the products and racking in WH2.
  • Assume responsibility for the maintenance of shelf inventory in your designated area and unpack delivered stock from pallets.
  • Measure and cut timber and trims as required.
  • Cut keys & refill gas bottles if retail staff are unavailable.
  • Assist in keeping the environment safe for customers and other employees.
  • Assist newer and/or junior team members.
  • Adhere to the high level of minimum standards documented for uniform and personal presentation.

Desirable requirements

Experience in a similar role

HR licence

Forklift licence

Knowledge of hardware or building trades
