Our 2019 Achievements
The Far West Business Awards were held on Saturday Night 16th November at the Whitehouse and attended by approximately 250 guests and we’re proud to say the Globe team did exceptionally well with wins in these 3 categories:
Excellence in Presentation & Marketing
Our presentation to the community is about building a brand which is instantly recognisable through consistent visual and audio representation which is why we have the logo on our in-store clearance signs and other standard signage; we use the same template in our BDT advertising and audio format in our radio ads – these are just some of our brand building methods. Our marketing has ramped up with email campaigns, the redesign and relaunch of our website and online shopping featuring local Globe deals, increased number of items listed on e-bay, increased colour advertising in BDT of clearance items and sales events. While these efforts have been highlighted our marketing plan is far more comprehensive and includes constant updates to our in-store radio and announcements to our telephone on-hold messaging.
Excellence in Customer Service
94% of our customers rate our customer service at the highest level and these measurables come from our mystery shopper program and our survey. We have tangible results and specific feedback to be proud of. Our individual efforts contribute to team success and we don’t think the majority of customers are happy, we know they are. Every day presents challenges whether it’s customer related, product/supplier related or our relationships but it’s how we handle these situations that shows our customers directly or indirectly that our retail environment is one they prefer and recommend.
